<aside> 💡 Welcome to the Queerd Co. Financial Favs! Beyond the chapter-specific resources inside ***Keeping Finance Personal,*** I have compiled an overarching list of recommended books, podcasts, creators, authors, and other material to check out. Here is where you will also be able to support and connect with all the wonderful folks who you heard from in the book.
HOW TO USE: I’ve created a list of all of my favorite recommendations, categorized by type (book, podcast, creator, etc.) and then further broken down by identity (2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, ADHD, etc.). Note: Identity includes resources that are either CREATED BY and/or INTENDED FOR those identities — there may often be overlap! You’ll find social media handles, websites, and any sort of work they’re connected to — books they’ve written, organizations they work with, etc. You can access this information either by SCROLLING through the table, left to right, or OPENING each individual entry to see all of their data in one place.
IDENTITY-SORTED RESOURCES: If a resource was created BY or FOR a certain identity, it has been categorized as such. To dig into identity-specific resources and recommendations, explore the following tables pre-sorted by those identities! Click the ARROW ➡️ next to each sort to open a toggle drop-down of the primary table, sorted by those identities.
TOPIC-SORTED RESOURCES: Resources have also been sorted based on the topic you’re looking for. Keep in mind that the main theme here is “Financial Favs” so that will be the overarching topic, but we’ve also included some other topics that we feel go hand-in-hand. Click the ARROW ➡️ next to each sort to open a toggle drop-down of the primary table, sorted by those topics.
CATEGORY-SORTED RESOURCES: In addition to the identity + topic sorts, we’ve also broken down our Queerd Co. favs by CATEGORY. Explore books, podcasts, organizations, creators, and more, utilizing the Category sorts! Click the ARROW ➡️ next to each sort to open a toggle drop-down of the primary table, sorted by those categories.
Finally, you will find the whole Financial Favs resource list at the bottom of this page, sorted by Category. If it ever feels too overwhelming to digest in this large table, head back up to the IDENTITY or TOPIC or CATEGORY sorts!
